Group finder lets you make changes to how your Group is displayed on www.eastlondonscouts.org.uk
... and shows you what your changes will look like – whilst you're making them!
A YELLOW BACKGROUND is used to highlight a required field. Without a value in this box, the Group Finder won't properly display the group.
PURPLE TEXT is used where data / other technical values need to be entered (e.g. latitude / longitude, web addresses.)
A PURPLE BACKGROUND is used to highlight that a value probably shouldn't be changed.
Once you've selected a Group from the Select a Group dropdown then you are able to choose between:
Editing Group details
Managing the locations where the Group's Section's meet
Adding (+) new locations
Deleting (x) the currently selected location
ⓘ You cannot delete [Group Details] or the last location in a group.
These are the basics about your group displayed on section cards in the carousel view and at the top of your group's lkisting page.
Please warn the Digital and IT team if you're changing name or number (as this won't change the URL of your Group's page itself)
These must also be agreed
in consultation between the appropriate Lead Volunteers,
and subject to approval from Trustee Boards and Scout Councils!
These colours control the colours of animated background on the group details page.
The drop down list to the right of the square showing colour preview will let you select from any of the colours that are available from Scout Store when ordering scarves from them.
If your group uses non-standard Scarf colours or has a different set of colours that it uses then you can enter the hex colour wanted (e.g. #000000) in the 3rd box of the trio,
